Reason R is also correct because when the size of particles is large enough, the light scatters in all directions. This is known as Rayleigh scattering, which is the scattering of light by particles that are much smaller than the wavelength of light. In the case of colloidal particles, the scattering is not as uniform as in Rayleigh scattering, but it still occurs in all directions.
